The study population comprised 3,682 schoolchildren and 1,035 participants were defined using a sample calculation in single-stage cluster sampling. To collect data we used the Family APGAR and Scale Peer Victimization and Aggression held from February to June 2011. 73% of the families of the students were defined as functional, dysfunctional 25% and 2% severe dysfunctional. Episodes of direct, relational aggression and victimization among school attended especially in severe dysfunctional families. However, the risk for some forms of violence attained the independent group of family functioning that may point to this event as multifactorial. The results suggest investing in intersectoral strategies to make school space protection and promotion of adolescent development.
