Abstract
Study with qualitative approach, which subject are the feelings of women who delivered stillboms or a dead newborns sharing the same room with another women that are in expectation their babies. The objectives intend to: verify what women who had been forwarded to the pre-laboring board after delivering a stillborn or having dead newborn think, analysis these thoughts and discuss the implications of making women who delivered a stillborn or had dead newborns share the same room as women who are still in a expectation of their babies. After the analyses, two categories emerged: An EXPECTATION THE BABY – mothers’expectations regarding the arrival of the baby; THE FEELING OF LOSING BABY AND THE ACQUAITANCESHIP WITH PREGANANCY WOMEN. We concluded that, despite the whole scenery that involves emotions related not only to the physical but also to the psychological spheres that losing baby brings, there is a preference for women to stay in the pre laboring board after losing a baby once the mentioned board represents expectation instead of termination.
