Abstract

The aim of this report is to describe the Nursing undergraduate students experience, at the Federal University of São Carlos, in São Paulo, Brazil, regarding their intervention with educators, during one semester, in the context of the discipline of Health Care of Children and Adolescents, at a children’s education unit in a city in the interior of São Paulo, which takes care for 130 children aged 0 to 5 years. The dynamic adopted for the activity was dialogic with the reality and the professionals involved, in a way that it was feasible to exchange knowledge and, together, to structure educational actions. This was done through observation, listening, and meetings for reflection and discussion of practices. Considering the educators as disseminators of the practices and knowledge acquired, actions like these contribute to stimulate the reflection, what have great impact on their performance and, consequently, in the improvement of care provided for children.
