The hospitalization of the adolescent

Abstract

This is a scientific article grounded on the professional and educator experience of the authors, considering the hospital health practice and the caring for the hospitalized adolescent. It tries relevant questions related to the adolescents hospitalization trial and their implications. The aims was to describe the screening hospitalization to the adolescence in a critic-reflexive perspective, and characterize the resulting reactions of the screening of hospitalization in that phase of the human development. Through the study it showed up the importance of the creation of new units of exclusive hospital admission for the clientele adolescent, as a need that can bring benefits, so much of the viewpoint of the care, like of the construction of the collective knowledge in the health of the adolescent.
