Abstract Objective: To report the experience of the nursing care dealing with a case of a child with ichthyosis. Method: this was a case report conducted in the Pediatric Inpatient Unit at a University Hospital in Southern Brazil. The child’s guardian agreed and signed the Voluntary Informed Consent Form.
