Motherhood in the adolescence and a problematic of caring for premature baby: a literature review

Abstract

The governmental statistic are showing a rise in prevalence of pregnancy in adolescence, by leading these young social group to cope with early pregnancy and premature motherhood with all risks involved. The purposes of this review were: (a) identifying scientific studies that portray motherhood in adolescence and the problematic of caring for premature child; e (b) analyzing the relations among premature motherhood and child care. A literature review has been brought forward concerning pregnancy in adolescence and premature motherhood in publications available at www.capes.gov.br. The results showed that during this years, the pregnant teenagers contend with high rates of maternal and neonatal morbimortality. A long while after, the survival stage is deemed to overcome challenges laid down by practicing a widespread care in maternity. Besides, it breathes life into accomplishing their background process, by taking steps to fare in the labour market and to sustain the social relationship of their group.
