Nursing care in the immediate postoperative period of surgery heart failure in pediatric patients: scoping review

Abstract
Objective
To map the evidence in the literature on nursing care in the immediate postoperative period of pediatric cardiac surgeries.
Methods
Scoping review developed according to Joanna Briggs Institute guidelines. The search was performed in four databases. Primary articles of a quantitative or qualitative nature, published in English, Portuguese and Spanish, which specifically addressed nursing care in the postoperative period heart surgery in children. 15 studies were selected and presented in the flow diagram Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analysis.
Results
Care with ventilatory support, glycemic and pain control, catheters, intracardiac tests, blood collection, nutrition, infection control, professional competence and management strategies. organization of the nurse. Thus, they were divided into two categories: nursing care in the postoperative immediate onset of congenital heart disease and nurses’ skills with the team.
Conclusion
It was mapped that nursing care in the immediate postoperative period of cardiac surgery in pediatric patients, they directly understand the patient, family and contribute to the team and sector. Pervading prevention, evaluation, treatment, recovery and coordination actions. It points to scarce literature on specific nursing care in the immediate postoperative period of cardiac surgery, as well as their standardization.
