Abstract

Given the process of transformation that has occurred in the teaching of nursing that has been characterized by methodological and curricular changes, teaching in the university shows up as a very important issue. In this context, the paper presents a report about the experience of two scholarship holders of the program for the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel and for the Program for Improvement of Education of the graduate course, Master and Doctorate level of the School of Nursing at the University of São Paulo. The report focuses on the aspects of preparing nursing graduate students for teaching and tells the experience that the students faced with development of activities in the discipline Nursing in Child and Family Care in Illnesses Experience.
