Prevention to the Sexually Transmitted Diseases: health education with teenagers group of high school

Abstract
Objective:
Report the experience of the use of Freirean Method from the culture circle at STD/HIV/AIDS prevention and quality promotion of life with school teenagers.
Method:
It is a descriptive study belonging to an experience report modality realized in a public school in Sobral city, Ceará. This search was approved by the research ethics committee from Vale do Acaraú University.
Results:
The aim of the actions was identify the necessity of learning about STD/AIDS who showed themselves interested in this area through their questions and comments. We noticed that the students had a good level of knowledge about this area but we also noticed they had some doubts and uncertainties. The evaluation of the pretest and posttest pointed to the importance of educational actions in health area, because the results were satisfactory.
Conclusion:
The action contributed to teenagers’ learning process but we can’t exclude the need for awareness of this group, seeing the constant conflicts and changes of opinions.
