The influence of cultural, economics, and social factors on anemia ferropriva among children under 2 years old associates to precocious weaning

Abstract
This is a exploratory and quantitative descriptive study. The aim of the present work was to evaluate knowledge and comprehension of mothers with regard to iron deficiency anemia and to analyze the transition period of breast feeding withdraw, identifying its associations with anemia a etiology. In order to have the data collected a form was used divided into 4 stages: maternal identification, socioeconomic factors, breast feeding data and mothers knowledge regarding anemia. The measure instrument was an interview. Analysis of information was accomplished using a manual tabulation of the gathered data and also for the presentation of tables and figures.
