The warmth like to announce children in a Post-Anesthetic Recovery: a concern to be review for nursing staff

Abstract

Study carried out by students in Nursing’s graduate of the University of Rio de Janeiro while developed an internalship in a Public Hospital of Rio de Janeiro. It has like as an objective to show the importance of the knowledge concerning to warmth to be made by the staff of nursing for children in a Post-Anesthetic Recovery (PAR), like way to announce. It was used a qualitative methodological approach to handle a study that include the perception about some phenomenon apparently uncount. We find a category of the analysis with two under categories: to announce is to warm the child: the reason (to know – to do) and the emotion (to do without to know) includes in the Care of Nursing in the PAR; 1^st category – Knowing without to priority the warmth in the PAR; 2^nd category – Without to know prioriting the warmth in the PAR. It concludes, nurse needs to know the necessity of the warmth as a way of communication with children in a PAR. seeking to interpret their subjectivity to avoid possible traumas for them.
