Abstract
The purposes of this study are to understand the dynamics of the families of pediatric transplant recipients and to identify the needs and resources of the family. We will use as a theoretical reference the Symbolic Interactionism, and the Grounded Theory methodology. The comparative analysis of the data will allow the understanding of the meaning of the family’s experience, based on which we will propose a theoretical model to explain the experience.
