VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS: A HEALTH POINT OF VIEW

Abstract
This article, trough theory perceptions, brings the discussion about violence into the health field as a strategic to inform, to become sensible, to make the professionals co-responsible to this area to the prevention and appropriate facility to children and adolescents that are victims of violence. This paper has a purpose to contribute to the reflexion about the characteristics of adolescents, its vulnerability and the risk factors to the violence; to characterize the different kinds of violence committed against children and adolescents, enlarging the phenomenon vision; to signal the forms of acting to break up the reproduction cycle of violence against children and adolescents.
