Abstract Quantitative research, retrospective, documentary that aimed to describe the in hospital morbidity and mortality of newborns admitted at neonatal intensive care unit and identify the main causes of hospitalization and its association with birth weight and gestational age. Abstract Objective: To develop a user embracement of mothers with disabled children according to their experiences and difficulties. Methods: Descriptive exploratory qualitative study.
