Abstract Objective: To verify the osmolality of glucose and electrolyte solution administered intravenously in newborns. Methods: Experimental study in which the measurement of osmolality occurred after the preparation of glucose, sodium chloride and potassium chloride according to clinical practice performed in neonates.
